Product Description
From the Manufacturer
This top-of-the-line headset model offers all-day comfort and premium sound quality, owing its performance to Plantronics' unique Sound Enhancement System. A tone control switch lets you select the level of bass and treble that you prefer for a full, rich sound. The company paid equal attention to fit and all-day wearing comfort. Encore features super-soft ear cushions, a "click-stop" adjustment system on the headband, and a turret that provides exactly the right fit and consistent positioning of the microphone.
The model also features a quick disconnect function that lets you walk away from the phone while still wearing the headset, along with a noise-canceling microphone that improves voice clarity. The set comes with a two-year warranty.

Customer Reviews
We use these and the newer, solid-boom models at work for taking calls and these Encore ones are total trash. The mic booms easily contort and bend, becoming permanently crimped and making it impossible to pick up your voice. The swivel for the boom loosens with use and eventually will no longer stay where you put it. In addition, the head band is not very strong so during the day your headset slowly slides off your ear due to it's own weight.
I suppose if you got one new, were the only user, and babied it when you used it that it would do a good job. I mean, when I am forced to use one at work (because the new ones are all being used) I still get my job done, but it isn't comfortable or convenient. At all.
Flexible boom works good for competant users. However we still have idiots that should because they twisted it around.
Callcenters dont always mean brains it seems :)
Good headset though, cancels noise (or most of it) of the idiots shouting on theirs.
